It can be really hard to let negative thoughts go. As a way to help your child mindfully accept worries before releasing them, get crafty and help them to make a worry monster.
Work with your child to set an achievable goal for them to aim for. Plan the steps they can take to achieve their goal - one paw at a time - and take a few minutes each step of the way to reflect on how positive progress is making them feel.
